Service & Support

Our service department covers the South West of England, from Bath, Somerset to Penzance, Cornwall.

We aim to be on site within 24 hours Monday to Friday and can repair most makes of cash register & touch screen terminals (on site if possible).

We also offer FREE help for minor problems over the phone.

If your cash register or touch screen terminal is in need of a complete re-program we can provide a FREE quotation to re-program the machine to your requirements including new keyboard overlays for flat keyboard cash registers.

Maintenance Support Contract

When the guarantee period on your equipment is due to expire, a maintenance contract will be sent to you.

Taking this out is purely optional, but will cover you for a further 12 months for:

 

  • Parts due to wear and tear (Excludes wetcovers, till rolls & ribbons)
  • Re-programming of EPOS software due to equipment malfunction
  • Labour
  • Free emergency only out of hours telephone support
  • Callouts (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) - Surcharges will apply for out of hours - see Call Out section below
  • Priority over non support contract customers
  • One free service upon request

 

The price of a maintenance contract is approx 10% of the purchase price. This can be paid monthly by direct debit. (Small fee of £12 per year for this service).

We will only offer maintenance contracts on equipment we are agents for as these companies offer a wide range of spare parts.

If the equipment is not currently under guarantee we will require an inspection of the equipment prior to issuing a maintenance support contract.

 

Software Only Support Contract

12 Month till software support only, includes:

 

  • Programming
  • Free emergency only out of hours telephone support
  • Callouts (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) - Surcharges will apply for out of hours - see Call Out section below
  • Labour
  • Priority over non support contract customers

 

Hardware Only Support Contract

12 Month hardware support only, includes:

 

  • Parts due to wear and tear (Excludes wetcovers, till rolls & ribbons)
  • Free emergency only out of hours telephone support
  • Callouts (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) - Surcharges will apply for out of hours - see Call Out section below
  • 1/2 an hour labour
  • Priority over non support contract customers

 

Call Outs

If you don't have a support contract with us the following call out charges will apply and include 1/2 an hour labour:

 

  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm £50 + Vat
  • Out of hours Monday to Friday £75.00 + Vat Emergency calls only
  • Saturday £85.00 + Vat Emergency calls only *
  • Sunday £95.00 + Vat Emergency calls only *

 

* Subject to engineer availability.  Priority is always given to support contract customers.

No service available Christmas Day and Easter Sunday

Re-Programming

For customers who don't have a current maintenance or software only support contract, or the equipment is not under guarantee, re-programming is carried out on a chargeable basis.

Cash Registers

We can fully re-program Casio Cash Registers. Please contact us for details and a free quote.

Touch Screen Terminals

It may be possible to convert your old touch screen system to ICR Touch software.

For customers with ICR Touch software or Fidelity GPOS systems, we are able to fully re-program the terminal to your specification.

A typical price for re-programming a touch screen terminal is approx £250 + vat.
